Box-type substation

A box-type substation, also known as a prefabricated substation or pre-installed substation, is a compact indoor or outdoor distribution device manufactured in a factory. It integrates high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution units according to a specific wiring configuration. This innovative equipment organically combines functions such as transformer step-down and low-voltage power distribution into a single, fully enclosed, moisture-proof, rust-resistant, dustproof, rodent-proof, fireproof, anti-theft, heat-insulated, and mobile steel-structure enclosure. It is particularly well-suited for urban grid construction and renovation, representing a new generation of substations that has emerged following the traditional civil-engineered substations.

Iron or aluminum metal fittings, widely used in transmission lines, are collectively known as hardware. These hardware components come in a wide variety of types, each serving distinct purposes. They act as essential connectors and assemblies in power systems, playing a crucial role in transmitting mechanical loads, electrical loads, and providing certain protective functions.

Primary and Secondary Integrated Pole-Mounted Circuit Breaker (Pole-Type)

A pole-mounted circuit breaker refers to a design in which each pole of the circuit breaker is mounted on an independent support structure. This design results in a relatively simple circuit breaker structure, allowing each breaker unit on its respective pole to operate independently. The advantages of pole-mounted circuit breakers include flexible installation—allowing the number of breaker units to be increased or decreased as needed. Additionally, maintenance of pole-mounted circuit breakers is relatively straightforward, since each unit is independent and can be inspected and repaired individually.

Ring Main Unit

The ring main unit is designed based on a ring-type distribution network, where the power supply trunk forms a closed loop. The power source feeds into the ring-shaped trunk, which then distributes electricity to individual distribution branches via high-voltage switches, such as load break switches.

Power transformer

Power transformers are critical stationary electrical devices used in power systems to step up or step down alternating current voltage and current. Their core function is to facilitate the efficient transmission, distribution, and safe utilization of electrical energy through the principle of electromagnetic induction.

High- and low-voltage complete switchgear

High- and low-voltage complete switchgear systems are modular electrical equipment clusters that cover both high-voltage (rated voltage > 1 kV, ≤ 35 kV) and low-voltage (rated voltage ≤ 1 kV) power distribution systems. Their core function is to achieve end-to-end management of electric power—encompassing “reception, conversion, distribution, control, and protection.” They serve as the “intelligent hub and neural network” of the power system, linking together all electricity-consuming scenarios, including power plants, substations, industrial enterprises, and civil buildings. These systems constitute the critical infrastructure that ensures the stable, safe, and efficient operation of the power grid.
